Ashlee Malleo Holmes is opening up more about her almost-3-year-old son, Cameron Hendrix Malleo, with husband Pete Malleo, after she shared that he was dealing with speech issues.

Ashlee, who is the daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita, took to Instagram to share the latest about her son. "Cameron is still on a waiting list to see a developmental pediatrician (2 year wait). He has not received a diagnosis of any kind. But he has therapy 3x a day 5 days a week. OT, Speech and ABA. It’s pretty unanimous throughout his several therapists that he definitely *currently* has a sensory issue of some kind though," she wrote.

She then requested advice about a recent development with Cameron. "This morning, my adorable little dragon of a three year old broke our TV during one of his meltdowns by throwing one of his small toys at it. (Swipe to see. The lion’s face is basically what I looked like when it happened lol.) Any advice on how to prevent/handle meltdowns that end with damage or violence such as biting themselves or others etc? I’ve found it helpful to talk calmly, bear hugs, and practice breathing with him. —Followed by redirection and/or engagement of some kind. Anything else? Anyone a fan of time out? Tell me your stories! It’s nice to know that you aren’t alone. / (Also if you’re an electronics brand that would like to send a new TV our way... I mean... we would GLADLY accept," she wrote.

Back in June, Ashlee shared a little bit more about Cameron's progress. "I’m so thankful for Cameron’s therapists. I’m grateful for the progress he has made during this time. This process is full of a lot of emotions. Some days are better than others, which is natural for any child. I’m just so proud of him. And I’m proud of myself (and my husband) for constantly following through with what we learn from his therapists," she wrote.
